Dharma will run in the Mumbai Marathon

Kathmandu. Veteran runner Dharam Maharjan will run in the Tata Mumbai Marathon. Dharma is leaving for Mumbai, India on Friday to participate in the marathon (42.195 km) to be held on January 21. National Sports Council Member-Secretary Tanklal Ghising wished Dharma for success and bid farewell during a program on Thursday. Dharma will compete in the 50+ age group. Marketing Manager of Trishakti Cement, Kishan Charan, stated that he has immediately given partial sponsorship to Dharma and promised to support more if he achieves good results. Dharma has participated in the world famous Boston, Berlin, London and Tokyo marathons. Apart from that, Dharma has also participated in international races of various distances. Dharam is the bronze medalist in the 10,000m race at the 18th Asian Masters Athletics held in Kitakami, Japan in 2014.
