Tokyo. Japan's Chandrayaan has successfully landed on the moon. After this success, Japan became the fifth country to land on the moon after America, Russia, China and India. Japan's space agency has announced that its Smart Lander for Investigating Moon (Slim) has made a soft landing on the surface of the moon. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency attempted to land a probe called Moon Sniper within 100 meters (328 feet) of the target. Japan's space agency says it will take a month to verify whether Slim has achieved its exact goal. According to the BBC, Japan's space agency has announced that its spacecraft known as 'Moon Sniper' has landed on the moon.
