Kathmandu. Nepal's Arnav Pandey won the title of the 4th International Scrabble Tournament on Saturday. Anwar scored 2643 points in the 15th round of the tournament organized by Scrabble Club and co-organised by Bright Future Mavi. Nepalese players also won silver and bronze in the competition held at Bright Future Mavi near Naikap. Ruvin Shrestha was second with 912 points and Vinita Verma was third with 699 points. The top three runners-up received cash prizes of 10,000, 6,000 and 4,000 respectively. 38 athletes from Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and America competed in the three-day tournament. In the side event, Sam Kantimathy of America came first. He scored 1485 points in 7 round matches.
