Announcement of Indian team to play T-20 series against Afghanistan

Kathmandu. India has announced the squad for the T20I series against Afghanistan. Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have made a comeback in the team for the three-match T-20 series starting January 11. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli returned to the T20 team after the match against England on November 10, 2022. They have been brought back to the team keeping in mind the upcoming T-20 World Cup. Rohit Sharma will captain the T20 series against Afghanistan. Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandey will not play in this series. Both are out of the team due to injuries. The Indian team consists of Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Tilak Burma, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Sanju Samson, Shivam Duve, Washington Sundar, Aksar Patel, Ravi Vishnoi, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar is there. India will play the first match against Afghanistan on January 11, the second on January 14 and the third on January 17.
