Kathmandu. Tribhuvan Army Club defeated Koshi Pradesh by 9 wickets. Chasing the target of 89 runs given by Koshi Pradesh in the ongoing Prime Minister's Cup National Cricket Tournament, Tribhuvan Army Club achieved the target by losing one wicket in 9.5 overs. Imran Sheikh and Santosh Karki scored 32.32 runs while Kushal Malla scored 22 runs in Army's victory. Koshi Pradesh, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 88 runs in 24.4 overs. Captain Ankit Subedi scored a top score of 41 runs for Koshi, while other batsmen failed to score runs in double figures. Army bowler Shahab Alam took 6 wickets while bowling Koshi at low runs. Alam took 6 wickets for 14 runs with 3 maidens in 6.4 overs. Similarly, Kushal Malla took 2 wickets and Sompal Kami and Vivek Yadav took one wicket each. Along with this, the Army has won its second victory in the third game in the ongoing tournament. Similarly, Koshi region suffered its fourth defeat in a row. Now Koshi Pradesh will play their next match against Bagmati Pradesh on Friday at TU ground while Army will play against Nepal Police Club at Bhairahawa on Sunday.
