More than 8,000 applied for cyber security training provided by Kathmandu Metropolis

Kathmandu. More than 8,000 people have applied for cyber security training to be conducted by Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Speaking to Tekpana, Training Coordinator Devendra KC informed that this number of applications have been received till Tuesday.

“More than 8,000 people have applied online for cyber security training,” KC said, “We are training 4,000 in the initial phase. We make other interested people participate in the training of other subjects.”

Stating that criteria have been prepared for the initial selection of 4,000 people, he said that the participants will be selected by giving preference to people active in the technology sector.

“We are discussing about what standards to set,” he said, “soon we will prepare the standards and conduct training.” According to him, information about how to participate in the training will be sent to the selected applicants via email and phone.
